President’s BiographyStephen L. Riemer was born and raised in Freehold, New Jersey and attended the University of Alabama, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration in 1971.Stephen began his insurance career as a special agent in the office of Northwestern Mutual Life. There he spent seven years learning the life and health side of the insurance business, sharpening his people skills and developing the sort of empathy with the customer’s needs that only a rare few can attain. “In all my relations with clients I agree to observe the following rule of professional conduct: I shall in the light of all circumstances surrounding my client make every conscientious effort to ascertain and understand and give him/her the service, which in the same circumstances, I would have applied to myself.” In 1978, Stephen opened Tri-County Insurance Agency and expanded his business scope to all lines of insurance. Through the years Stephen has purchased agencies and renamed Tri-County Insurance Agency to Riemer Insurance Group, Inc. in 2000.
